I meant to make this blog about me as a stay at home mum. Share with readers my feelings and opinions about everything related to being a wife, a mum and a woman.
I wrote a post a few weeks ago about my pregnancy. There were two posts actually. I shared every personal embarrassing detail about what I was going through when I was pregnant with my daughter. I honestly thought that this was the post I was going to get a lot of feedback on. But no one apart from one or two stray readers, no one, was intrigued enough to view my post.
I’m not going to lie, I was kinda bummed by it. I mean, I thought there would be mummies out there that would be curious to know if someone else had gone through what they went through being pregnant and all. Well, apparently not.
A few posts after that I decided I was going to share a poem, well, not really a poem but a few thoughts and feelings I had written. I’m not under the illusion that I’m a great poet or anything.
Anywho, I posted the “poem” and to my greatest surprise that was the post that got the most views and likes until that point in my blog. I could not believe that there were people out there who actually liked my weird creative / poetry / ramblings.
I got so motivated that I wrote poem after poem after poem until that was all I wrote on the blog and I’ve been getting more followers everyday. I don’t have thousands of followers but I don’t care. I’m just thrilled that people want to follow my blog. I have never dreamt of getting even one follower but now I have about 100 followers which is tiny compared to other bloggers but to me, it means the world.
I am so very excited about the future of this blog and I really wish that I would be able to continue writing for this blog and will always feel motivated to write and create new content. Thank you to all my followers. You are the best and I love you all.
